- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
Other Ingredients
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, more as desired
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Make the Chai Spice Mix: In a small bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, 1/2 teaspoon allspice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves, and 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger to create the chai spice blend for the popsicles.
- Blend Ingredients: Pour 2 cups almond milk, 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of the prepared chai spice mix into a blender. Blend the mixture until completely smooth to ensure the flavors are well combined.
- Adjust Sweetness and Spice: Taste the blended mixture and add extra honey or chai spice blend if desired to suit your preference for sweetness and spice intensity. Blend again briefly if additional ingredients are added.
- Fill Popsicle Molds: Pour the chai mixture evenly into popsicle molds. Insert the popsicle sticks carefully to ensure they stay centered while freezing.
- Freeze: Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 5 hours, or ideally overnight, until the popsicles are fully set and firm.
Notes
- You can substitute maple syrup for honey to make the recipe vegan.
- Adjust the amount of chai spice mix and sweetener to match your taste preferences.
- Use almond milk or any other plant-based milk to keep the recipe dairy-free and paleo-friendly.
- Ensure the popsicles freeze completely before removing them from molds to prevent melting.
