Description

A simple and nutritious Berry Overnight Oats recipe perfect for a quick and healthy breakfast. Rolled oats soaked in almond milk with chia seeds, maple syrup, and a mix of fresh or frozen berries create a creamy, flavorful, and wholesome start to your day.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Sweetener

  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (or more to taste)

Fruit

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and/or strawberries

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, pinch of salt, maple syrup, and berries into a bowl or jar. Stir everything well until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Refrigerate: Seal the container with a lid tightly and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours or preferably overnight. This allows the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and soften.
  3. Serve: After chilling, give the oats a good stir. Serve cold directly from the jar or bowl, optionally topping with more fresh berries or nuts if desired.

Notes

  • Use almond milk or any milk alternative of your choice to keep the recipe dairy-free.
  • Maple syrup can be adjusted or substituted with honey or agave nectar according to preference.
  • For a thicker texture, increase chia seeds or reduce liquid.
  • Overnight oats can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Using frozen berries will chill the oats but also release natural juices for extra flavor.
