Description

Indulge in the luscious layers of The Best Biscoff Banana Pudding with Caramel, a creamy, decadent dessert blending velvety vanilla pudding infused with Biscoff cookie butter, ripe organic bananas, crunchy vanilla wafer and Biscoff cookies, all topped with whipped cream and a rich caramel drizzle. Perfectly chilled for a dreamy texture and incredible flavor harmony.

Ingredients

Filling

  • 4 organic bananas, sliced
  • 1 (11 oz.) box organic vanilla wafer cookies
  • 1 (8 oz.) package Biscoff cookies, semi-crushed (some whole and some crushed)
  • 2-3 cups whipped cream, store-bought or homemade
  • 3 (1 oz.) boxes vanilla instant pudding mix (or 1 3 oz. box vanilla pudding mix)
  • 2 tablespoons Biscoff cookie butter, softened
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2-3 cups VERY COLD filtered water (or milk for best results)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt

For Garnish

  • Whipped cream
  • Biscoff cookies, crushed
  • Organic vanilla wafer cookies, crushed
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzle (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine VERY COLD water (or milk), vanilla instant pudding mixes, Biscoff cookie butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Using a hand mixer, beat on medium-high speed, gradually increasing speed as the mixture thickens. Continue mixing until the mixture is smooth and pudding-like, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Add flavorings: Stir in vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix for another minute to integrate all flavors smoothly.
  3. Assemble the pudding layers: In a trifle bowl or your preferred serving dish, layer organic vanilla wafer cookies and Biscoff cookies, then sliced bananas, followed by a generous portion of the pudding mixture. Add a few dollops of whipped cream on top of each layer. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a pudding or whipped cream layer on top.
  4. Garnish and chill: Decorate the top with additional whipped cream, crushed vanilla wafer cookies, crushed Biscoff cookies, and drizzle caramel sauce over the surface for extra sweetness and texture.
  5. Refrigerate: Cover the dish and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours; for best results, refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld and pudding to set perfectly.
  6. Serve: Once chilled and set, serve chilled and enjoy this rich, creamy dessert.

Notes

  • You can substitute the 3 individual 1 oz. boxes of vanilla pudding mix with one 3 oz. box for convenience.
  • Milk can be used instead of water for a creamier pudding texture and richer flavor.
  • Some Biscoff cookies can be kept whole and some crushed to provide a nice texture contrast.
  • Homemade caramel sauce can be used for garnish; see the referenced post in the recipe source for details.
  • Allowing the pudding to chill overnight improves texture and flavor melding.
