- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce ($0.01)
- 1 tsp salt ($0.04)
- ½ tsp black pepper (freshly cracked, $0.08)
- ½ tsp garlic powder ($0.02)
- ¼ tsp paprika ($0.02)

- 10 cheddar cheese slices, divided ($1.64)
For the Topping
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted ($0.22)
- ½ Tbsp everything bagel seasoning ($0.12)
Instructions
- Prep: Gather and prepare all ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Slice Rolls: Cut the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Brown Beef: Heat the vegetable oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the ground beef, minced onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook for about 10 minutes, breaking up the beef as it cooks, until no longer pink.
- Remove Beef: Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked beef mixture into a medium bowl, leaving excess grease in the skillet.
- Fold in Mayonnaise: Add the mayonnaise to the beef mixture and fold gently until evenly combined.
- Layer Cheese: Place 5 slices of cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom layer of rolls, tearing slices as needed to fully cover.
- Add Beef Mixture: Spread the prepared beef mixture evenly over the cheese layer.
- Top with Cheese: Add the remaining 5 cheddar cheese slices on top of the beef layer, again tearing slices to cover fully.
- Prepare Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the everything bagel seasoning until well combined.
- Top Rolls & Brush: Place the top halves of the rolls over the layered beef and cheese. Brush the tops generously and evenly with the butter and seasoning mixture.
- Bake: Place the baking dish on the center rack of the preheated oven. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
