Description

This Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha is a refreshing Starbucks copycat recipe that combines rich espresso, creamy chocolate mocha, and unique pistachio-flavored cold foam. It's a delightful iced beverage perfect for coffee lovers looking for a gourmet twist on their mocha with a creamy, nutty topping and optional toasted Kataifi for an added crunchy texture.

Ingredients

Cold Foam

  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp pistachio sauce

Main Drink

  • 2 oz espresso
  • ½ cup milk of choice (2% milk recommended)
  • 3 tbsp mocha sauce or chocolate syrup
  • Ice as needed

Topping (Optional)

  • Toasted Kataifi

Instructions

  1. Make the cold foam: Combine the heavy cream and pistachio sauce in a small jar or glass. Use a milk frother to froth the mixture for 20 to 30 seconds until it becomes fluffy and foamy. Set this pistachio cold foam aside.
  2. Prepare the drink base: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes, then pour 2 ounces of freshly brewed espresso over the ice.
  3. Mix mocha milk: In a separate container, stir together the milk and mocha sauce (or chocolate syrup) until combined and smooth. Pour this chocolate milk mixture over the espresso in the glass. Stir gently if you like to mix the layers.
  4. Assemble and serve: Spoon the pistachio cold foam over the top of the mocha espresso drink. If desired, sprinkle toasted Kataifi on top for a crunchy, nutty garnish. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavor.
  • Pistachio sauce adds a unique nutty flair but can be substituted with flavored syrups if unavailable.
  • To toast Kataifi, bake lightly in the oven or pan until golden brown for added texture.
  • Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of mocha sauce or chocolate syrup.
  • For a dairy-free version, use plant-based milk and coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
