Description

A refreshing and nutritious Mango Raspberry Smoothie perfect for a quick breakfast or energizing snack. This dairy-free smoothie blends frozen fruits, non-dairy yogurt, and milk with chia seeds and protein powder to create a creamy, naturally sweet treat with a tangy lime twist.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup frozen mango

Dairy Alternatives

  • 1/2 cup non-dairy yogurt (such as almond or coconut yogurt)
  • 2 cups non-dairy milk (almond milk recommended)

Add-ins

  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 scoop protein powder of choice or collagen peptides

Optional Sweeteners

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • or 1 date

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients: Gather all ingredients including frozen raspberries, frozen mango, non-dairy yogurt, non-dairy milk, lime juice, chia seeds, protein powder, and optional sweetener.
  2. Add ingredients to blender: Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender starting with frozen fruits followed by yogurt and non-dairy milk to ensure smooth blending.
  3. Blend until smooth: Process the mixture on high speed until completely smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary. Add more non-dairy milk if the smoothie is too thick for your liking.
  4. Taste and adjust: Sample the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if desired by adding honey or a date, then blend briefly again to mix.
  5. Serve: Pour the smoothie evenly into glasses and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruits to create a naturally chilled and thick smoothie without needing ice.
  • Non-dairy yogurt and milk options can be substituted with your favorite plant-based alternatives such as oat or soy milk.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste depending on your preference and the sweetness of the fruits.
  • Adding chia seeds boosts fiber and omega-3 content, making the smoothie more filling and nutritious.
  • If you don’t have protein powder, collagen peptides work well or simply omit if desired.
