Description

This Reese's Fudge recipe is an easy and indulgent treat combining creamy peanut butter cups with rich chocolate fudge. Perfect for peanut butter and chocolate lovers, it uses simple ingredients and requires no baking, making it a quick and effortless dessert to prepare. The fudge sets in the refrigerator for a smooth, decadent texture that’s perfect for parties or sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Fudge Base

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz)
  • 3 cups Chocolate Chips

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 24 Reese's Regular Size Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8 inch pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray it with cooking spray to prevent sticking and ease removal of the fudge later.
  2. Arrange Peanut Butter Cups: Place 16 whole Reese's peanut butter cups evenly along the bottom of the prepared pan, creating a solid peanut butter base layer.
  3. Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each, until the mixture is smooth and chocolate chips are fully melted without burning.
  4. Pour Chocolate Over Peanut Butter Cups: Evenly spread the melted chocolate and condensed milk mixture over the arranged peanut butter cups, covering them completely.
  5. Add Topping: Chop the remaining 6 peanut butter cups into smaller pieces and gently press them onto the top layer of chocolate for added texture and flavor.
  6. Chill to Set: Refrigerate the pan for several hours or until the fudge is fully set and firm enough to cut into squares.
  7. Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out using the foil edges, cut into 36 small squares, and enjoy your rich Reese's fudge treat.

Notes

  • Use regular size Reese's cups for best layering and texture.
  • Microwave heating times may vary; stir often to prevent burning.
  • For cleaner squares, use a sharp knife warmed with hot water before cutting.
  • Store leftover fudge covered in the fridge for up to one week.
  • Allow fudge to come to room temperature for a few minutes before serving for a softer bite.
