Description

This Sugar Cookie Fudge recipe combines the classic flavors of sugar cookies and creamy white chocolate fudge for a rich, delicious treat. Easy to prepare and perfect for holiday gifting or casual snacking, this fudge is creamy, sweet, and festively topped with colorful Christmas sprinkles.

Ingredients

Fudge Base

  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 ½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar cookie mix (heat treated)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Topping

  • 1/8 cup Christmas sprinkles (see notes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Spray a 9×9 inch pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on both sides. This will make it easier to lift the fudge out after it has set.
  2. Heat the ingredients: In a large pot over medium heat, add the sweetened condensed milk and stir continually until hot but not boiling. Stir in the white chocolate chips, heat-treated sugar cookie mix, unsalted butter, and kosher salt. Continue stirring until everything is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove the pot from heat to prevent burning.
  3. Add flavor and sprinkles: Fold in the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of the Christmas sprinkles gently into the fudge mixture, ensuring even distribution.
  4. Pour and decorate: Pour the prepared fudge mixture into the lined pan. Sprinkle the remaining Christmas sprinkles evenly on top for a festive look.
  5. Chill to set: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least two hours or up to overnight to allow the fudge to fully set. Once firm, use the parchment overhang to lift the fudge from the pan, slice into 36 pieces, and serve.

Notes

  • Heat-treat the sugar cookie mix by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to eliminate any raw flour taste.
  • Use festive Christmas sprinkles for seasonal flair, or substitute with any sprinkles of your choice.
  • Ensure continuous stirring when melting ingredients to prevent scorching or burning.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
